Events honor Delphi victims two years after their murders

DELPHI — Wednesday marks two years since Libby and Abby were murdered in the small town of Delphi and the community is stepping up that day to honor them and keep their memory alive.

Food Drive

Friends and family of the girls are hosting a food drive in their honor on Wednesday, February 13 at the United Methodist Church in Delphi.

People are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food/pet items at the church between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

If you can't make it to Delphi on Wednesday, family members encourage you to donate to food and pet pantries in your hometown in Libby and Abby's names.

Press Conference

Indiana State Police along with other investigators will hold a press conference on February 13 at the Carroll County Courthouse. The press conference will begin at 1:30 p.m. and you can watch coverage live on RTV6 here starting at 1:15 p.m.

Candle Light Vigil

The United Methodist Church in Delphi will open its doors from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for people to light a candle in memory of Libby and Abby.

Donate to the Memorial Park

A memorial sports complex is still under construction in memory of the girls and donations are still being taken.
