INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Public Schools are expected to approve more than $31 million in pay increases for teachers.
The IPS Board of School Commissioners will vote to approve the increases for IPS teachers and staff during Tuesday night's work session, according to IPS.
The exact details of those pay raises and the amount teachers are expected to receive will be revealed in a press conference following the work session.
Part of the IPS referendum that was passed by taxpayers in 2018 was to support competitive teacher compensation.
More details will be released after Tuesday night's meeting.
