BLOOMINGTON — Tuition at Indiana University is going up.
Indiana University says there is a 2.5 percent increase for in-state undergraduate students at all campuses across the state. The university's board of trustees approved this tuition plan earlier this week.
Tuition for out-of-state students will be going up by three percent on the Bloomington campus.
This year's IU in-state tuition was $10,680, which is less than seven of the 14 Big Ten schools.
Another Indiana college, Indiana State University, has proposed a tuition increase of 1.9 percent, as well as a required $75 health and wellness fee.
