INDIANAPOLIS — Thousands of teachers, educators and even students gathered on the lawn of the Indiana Statehouse Tuesday for 'Red for Ed' in support of their schools.
Educators who participated had numerous reasons to be there and many had to do with school funding and licensing, but there was also so many little stories that explained just what is happening in their schools.
We spoke to those educators and asked them, "Why are you here?"
This is what they said:
Jennings County
Fairmount
Shelbyville
Wayne Township
Columbus
Decatur
Wayne Township
Jennings County
Kokomo
Elkhart
Peru
Evansville
New Albany
Evansville
