INDIANAPOLIS — Todd Rokita, Indiana’s Republican candidate for attorney general, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Rokita was informed by somebody that he had been exposed to COVID-19. After developing some symptoms, he tested positive, according to his campaign.

The campaign said he is “doing well and working from home.”

“He looks forward to tonight's election returns and to serving as Indiana's next Attorney General,” the campaign said.

Rokita's opponent, Democrat Jonathan Weinzapfel, tweeted that he's wishing Rokita a full and speedy recovery.

Rokita will watch the election results from home.
