INDIANAPOLIS – More than a million Hoosiers have now voted in the 2020 election.
Numbers from the Indiana Secretary of State’s office show 422,218 mail-in ballots returned and 672,163 in-person early votes, for a total of 1,094,381 total early votes.
The early vote total is about 40% of the 2016 presidential vote in Indiana.
About 23% of the state’s 4,753,490 registered voters have cast a ballot so far. About 58% of the state’s registered voters cast a ballot in the 2016 election.
