PHOENIX — Vice President Mike Pence welcomed Kamala Harris to the race during a campaign stop in Arizona on Tuesday.
Pence congratulated Harris' nomination and was quick to criticize her position on several issues. He also worked on casting her as being part of the "radical left."
"I mean, we all know, look, Joe Biden and the democratic party have been overtaken by the radical left. So given their promises of higher taxes, open borders, socialized medicines, and abortion on demand, it's no surprise that he chose Senator Harris to be his running mate."
Harris has not responded to Pence's remarks at the time of this report.
Harris and Pence are set to square off for a debate on October 7 in Utah.
