A funeral home in Michigan wants to make sure people who are unable to exit a vehicle or are just plain in a hurry still have the opportunity to attend a funeral.
How?
The Paradise Funeral Chapel has a drive-through window.
The idea to marry fast food with funerals came to Ivan Phillips, the chapel owner, last year when he heard that a disabled woman was unable to attend her husband's funeral.
His answer was the drive-through funeral, a way to pay your respects to the deceased without ever leaving your car.
According to the website for Paradise Funeral Chapel, it also offers live-stream video services of funerals for those who are out of town.
