INDIANAPOLIS — Here's a shout out to some wonderful students in Pendleton.
RTV6 told you about a family who lost everything this week in a house fire, and it was mostly due to confusion about who was supposed to respond to the call in an unincorporated area.

While adults try to hash out that problem, students at Pendleton Heights High School stepped up to help that family.
Students collected donations for the family during one of the school's basketball games this week. And they got to see the fruits of their labor when Steve Simons, who escaped the burning home with his wife and two kids, thanked the crowd at halftime of the game.
