FISHERS — You might call it one-stop shopping for government services.
In Fishers, the former police headquarters on Municipal Drive has been converted into the City Services Building.
It opens Friday, March 1 and is located just north of City Hall.
The facility will make many city services available under one roof:
- Permit and inspection processing.
- Sewer and storm water bill paying.
- City Court and court payments.
- Traffic tickets.
- Parks and Recreation Department transactions.
The City Services Building does not replace City Hall, where the mayor and many city departments maintain their offices.
But it does give the rapidly-growing city more room to expand government operations.
Fishers is Indiana's sixth-largest city, with a population closing in on 100,000.
