BLOOMINGTON – An Atlanta-based signage company is planning a $4 million expansion into Bloomington, Indiana and adding up to 60 new jobs to the area.

Proveli manufactures things like community signage, real estate signs, mailboxes and custom sign frames. The company is already in Monroe County, as it acquired Hall Signs in late 2019.

“Hall Signs is a tremendous company with decades of proven success in Indiana and throughout the Midwest,” said Thomas Cyphers, who founded Proveli with his brother Reinhardt.

Proveli said it intends to increase employment to nearly 100 full-time employees in Monroe County by 2022.

Proveli is requesting Monroe County provide a 10-year tax abatement for real and personal property investments. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) has also offered up to $700,000 in conditional tax credits based on the company’s expansion and investment plans.

A final vote by the Monroe County Board of Commissioners and Monroe County Redevelopment Commission is expected on July 7.
