SHELBY COUNTY — The Indiana Department of Workforce Development and WorkOne Central will host a virtual hiring fair next week for dozens of job openings in Shelby County.
According to information from the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the virtual hiring fair will run from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11.
Participating employers will include Freudenberg-NOK, Major Hospital, Penske Logistics and Toray Resin. The DWD said presenters from each company will discuss the job opportunities in detail, along with benefits and how to apply.
"Businesses need workers. We continue to hear this from Shelby County employers as well as from employers throughout the region," Lance Ratliff, executive director of the Region 5 Workforce Board, said. "To help address this need, the Region 5 Workforce Board is pleased to partner with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development to offer a virtual hiring fair for several Shelby County businesses. A virtual hiring fair engages technology to provide a safe and efficient method for recruiting new workers."
