INDIANAPOLIS – Fedex is in the process of opening a new building at Indianapolis International Airport, and they need 1,000 people to staff the new facility.
They are looking for part-time package handlers to unload packages after they're removed from the planes, as well as part-time material handlers who are also trained to operate tug trucks and other equipment that moves packages.
Although the new facility is not slated to open until fall, all new hires will be put to work immediately.
The jobs are for both day and overnight shifts, for 3-4 hours a day.
Starting pay is $16.12 per hour. All part-time positions get full-time benefits after 90 days.
