INDIANAPOLIS — Five Central Indiana companies will participate in a virtual job fair early next month.
Walmart eCommerce, Maplehurst Bakeries, Harlan Bakeries, LifeScience Logistics and Nice-Pak Products Inc. will take part in the virtual job fair Tuesday, May 5, hosted by The Indiana Department of Workforce Development and WorkOne Central.
“Employers are continually challenged to find skilled workers. The virtual job fair uses technology to implement a proven hiring technique: personally presenting an employer's opportunities to a large audience of interested applicants,” said Lance Ratliff, Executive Director of the Region 5 Workforce Board.
A news release from the Indiana Department of Workplace Development said presenters from each company will discuss job opportunities, benefits and how to apply.
Job seekers can register online, and a recording of the job fair will be available for people who are interested, but cannot attend.
After registering, a confirmation email will be sent containing information about joining the webinar.
