INDIANAPOLIS — The COVID-19 pandemic has proven to be a busy time for NOW Courier, a logistics company that provides delivery options for companies in the health care, e-commerce and financial industries. With its business in demand, the company is looking to hire new drivers.

During the pandemic, NOW Courier's drivers are transporting COVID-19 tests and antibody tests to and from more than 60 Indiana labs and health care facilities, including Community Health Network and Parkview Health.

"We need drivers as bad today as we did three months ago and probably even worse in the next couple of months," NOW Courier CEO Ryan Schwalbach said. "We are looking for independent contract drivers who drive their own vehicles, run their own business. With unemployment with where it is, I'd love to see some of those people who have not been able to make money for their family to come drive to us."

NOW Courier has seen a nearly 25% increase in health care-related deliveries due to COVID-19.

Drivers deliver tests in packaging items, such as coolers and dry ice, which the company provides.

"At a time like this, when so many people are out of work, we’re actually looking to add new drivers into our community," Schwalbach said. "Each of our independent contracting drivers understand our important mission and their role in delivering positive patient outcomes and better health care experiences as a whole.”
