LEBANON—Drivers on I 65 in the Lebanon and Whitestown areas of Boone County can't help but notice the large number of new businesses there.
Many of those companies are hiring, according to the Boone County Economic Development Corporation.
At an upcoming job fair, employers will be looking to fill some 600 positions. And it's not just companies along the I 65 corridor.
"We have employers from across Boone County planning to attend," Molly Whitehead, Development Corporation Executive Director, said. "They are looking to hire employees in a number of positions."
The job fair is April 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Whitestown Municipal Complex.
Jobs are available in manufacturing, business services, logistics, distribution, education, healthcare and retail.
Companies are looking for full-time, part-time, temporary and seasonal employees.
No advance registration is needed to attend the job fair.
Job seekers are asked to bring copies of their resume and dress professionally.
