And the pay isn't bad

PLAINFIELD — Job Center Staffing is looking for about 100 people to work in warehouses located in Plainfield and Whitestown.

Since the pandemic, the staffing agency has run into some challenges with getting positions filled.

“We’ve had a lot of difficulty with all the unemployment benefits that have been added recently,” said Danielle Geraty, Business Development Manager. “When people were getting $600 additional a week they were making on average about 15-dollars-an-hour. So our jobs range from $11.50 to around $18 dollars an hour, so some of our positions paid less than they could get paid to sit at home.”

But now that the unemployment check sizes have decreased, they are hoping they can get back on track with filling roles in companies around Central Indiana.

The positions that are available range from entry-level warehouse work to forklift operators. Employees can often start the next day and get right to work. Positions pay anywhere between $11.50 and $18-an- hour. The jobs are temporary to hire, which means they can be converted into a full-time role.

Those interested need to have proof that they can work in the United States and be willing to get a background check. A few of the companies are also felon friendly.

For more information on these jobs you can stop by The Job Center Staffing at 1660 E Main St suite 102, Plainfield, IN 46168 or call at 317-754-4004.
