INDIANAPOLIS — Home Depot is looking to hire 85 people for is Indianapolis stores.
The roles that need to be filled include customer service, social distancing reinforcement, freight, and filling online and curbside orders. The position is hourly and at the associate level for both full-time and part-time work.
Home Depot will provide job training with a focus on keeping coworkers and customers safe during the pandemic.
The following safety measures have been implemented:
- Promoting distancing practices in stores by marking floors, adding signage and plexiglass shields
- Providing non-medical face coverings and gloves to associates
- Requiring associates and customers to wear non-medical face masks
- Extending major fall promotions, such as Black Friday, by two months to avoid high levels of store traffic at one time
