Ivy Tech is offering free classes & training to 10,000 Hoosiers

INDIANAPOLIS — Ivy Tech Community College is offering 10,000 Hoosiers free classes and job training to help grow the workforce and get people back on their feet following the COVID-19 crisis.

The free classes and training courses will cover a variety of subjects and job fields to help thousands of Hoosiers take the first or next step toward earning their degree or certificate.

The free classes and training courses are for Indiana residents only.

"At Ivy Tech Community College we are committed to supporting and growing the workforce, throughout our communities, by providing solutions for job seekers and employers," the school said on its website. "Ultimately, we want to help Hoosiers achieve their career goals in a cost-effective, supportive and efficient manner."

Some of the classes being offered include advanced manufacturing, tools of the industry with Autodesk, information technology, and business and cross-sector learning.
