CARMEL — A new automotive floorplan company will be expanding its headquarters in Carmel to support its rapid growth, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation announced on Monday.

Kinetic Advantage, according to IEDC, provides technology-driven solutions to independent automotive dealers across the United States.

The startup has rapidly grown to over 25 markets since officially launching in July. It has added 65 new Indiana jobs in six months and with the expansion plans to add 225 additional jobs over the next few years.

“I’ve been involved in three startups in Indiana and have found that Indiana is a great place to build a business given the educated workforce, excellent work ethic, and pro-business climate in Indiana," Marty McFarland, the CEO of Kinetic, said. "I am thrilled to work with my Indiana teammates in building an employee and customer-centric business."

According to a release from IEDC, Kinetic is expanding its current office at 10333 N. Meridian from 24,500 square-feet to 34,200 square-feet. The company plans to invest more than $4 million into the renovations.

The expansion is set to be complete in April, according to IEDC.

Kinetic plans to ramp up hiring this year, and open positions will be posted online as they become available.
