INDIANAPOLIS — GEICO is set to hire 165 new employees at its Indianapolis regional offices over the next two months.
The hiring of the new customer service representatives and sales representatives is part of the insurer's plans to hire 3,000 new associates companywide by the end of the year.

According to a news release from the company, GEICO's 1,400 Indianapolis associates are currently working from home and all interviewing, hiring, onboarding and training for the new hires will be done virtually. New hires will also work remotely until the company transitions associates back to offices.

GEICO was founded more than 80 years ago and has risen to become the nation's second-largest auto insurer.
