INDIANAPOLIS — Second Helpings is looking to fill multiple positions with people who want to give back to their community.

Second Helpings works to address hunger and poverty in central Indiana by rescuing prepared food that would otherwise get thrown away.

The organization also runs a culinary job training program.

They are hiring for several full-time positions including staff, accountant, facilities manager and drivers. All positions include benefits.

Jennifer Vigran, CEO Second Helpings says the organization hopes to attract a diverse range of candidates who are interested in giving back to their community.

"We are looking for people who are committed to the work that we do and are committed to service," Vigran said. "Everything we do at second helpings is part of a collaboration with our entire community. They are going to be working with our staff as well as volunteers. So this is an opportunity for someone who really wants to be part of the team."
