Winning $4.5 million Hoosier Lottery ticket sold in Indianapolis goes unclaimed

INDIANAPOLIS -- Time has run out for the owner of a $4.5 million winning Hoosier Lottery ticket to claim their prize.

The winning ticket was purchased in Indianapolis for the drawing on August 17, 2016 -but the deadline to claim that prize has now come and gone.

Hoosier Lottery officials said the $4.5 million unclaimed jackpot is one of their biggest unclaimed prizes ever.

The winning ticket, which matched all six numbers, was bought at Marsh Supermarket located at 1435 W. 86th St. The winner had until 5 p.m. February 13 to claim their prize. 
 
All Hoosier Lottery prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing.
