ANDERSON — Anderson police say two small children were living in "terrible conditions" at a home on the city's south side.
The children are now in the care of the Department of Child Services and their parents are facing neglect charges.
Police went to the house at 3923 South Main Street at the request of DCS.
In a probable cause affidavit, Officer Brandon Reynolds said he was able to look through a widow and see one small child who was crying and covered in what appeared to be human feces.
Feces also covered each wall of the room, according to Reynolds.
The affidavit says parents Alyssa and Michael Felton refused to let Officer Reynolds into the home until he threatened the couple with his stun gun.
Inside, police found methamphetamine and the two children.
"Inside of each room there was human feces covering the walls and both children had no clothes on outside of their diapers," according to the affidavit.
31-year-old Michael Felton faces neglect and drug charges.
His wife, 23-year-old Alyssa Felton is charged with neglect.
