Apple fans flock to The Fashion Mall for iPhone

Posted

INDIANAPOLIS -- Friday was a big day for Apple fans – the new iPhone 6S made its debut. The release drew a big crowd at The Fashion Mall at Keystone.

Friday morning, Apple fanatics flocked to the mall to try to get their hands on Apple’s latest hardware.

Brock Gillum, a Purdue University student, said he spent the night outside the mall to be first in line for the new phone. He said the product is more than just an upgrade, it’s an investment.

"I do this every year for every iPhone. I own apple stock. it's a big thing to get the iPhone,” Gillum said.

For others, getting as many iPhones as possible isn’t as important as using them to make things more possible.

"I'm excited to see what accessibility for the blind it's going to have,” Adam Rodenbeck said.

Rodenbeck is a blind iPhone user. He and his best friend Laddie waited patiently to get their paws on Apple’s latest product.

"I've always supported Apple because it's pretty amazing," Rodenbeck said.

In the end, Apple fans big and small found happiness in knowing that they were leaving with a little piece of the latest and greatest.
