Autopsy on 8-week-old infant shows no signs of trauma

FRANKLIN — An autopsy on eight-week-old infant who died Tuesday after being dropped off at a babysitter showed no evidence of physical injuries or trauma, according to Indiana State Police.

Kensli Deese arrived at a babysitter in Pennington Trailer Park early Tuesday morning. At 10:51 a.m., Franklin police officers were sent to the trailer park regarding a medical emergency. Officers arrived at 10:52 a.m. and attempted life-saving measures, state police said.

Kensli was transported to Johnson Memorial Hospital and later pronounced deceased.

State police said detectives are continuing their investigation into the child's death.
