BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. -- Two people were killed Monday night when a train collided with an SUV in Bartholomew County, Indiana.
The crash happened at 900 North, near 250 W.
When emergency crews arrived, they found two people trapped in the SUV, and a third outside lying next to the vehicle. The two people inside the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. They have been identified as Joshua Lee Kelso, 30, and Justice Marie Llewellyn, 20.
The person found outside the vehicle was lifelined to an Indianapolis hospital.
The train consisted of two locomotives that were traveling southbound. The conductor told police the train was traveling at 49 mph.
