EDINBURGH, Ind. -- A 5-year-old boy whose toy police cruiser was stolen from an Edinburgh gas station last month got a big surprise from local law enforcement agencies on Tuesday.
Connor Burton, who says he wants to be a police officer when he grows up, was devastated when someone stole his toy cruiser.

The kindergartener told RTV6 that he went to the gas station with his mother and left the toy cruiser parked outside while he went in to get some candy. When he walked back outside to hop in and head home, it was gone.
After hearing Connor’s story, several law enforcement agencies teamed up to get the little boy a new cruiser to replace the one that was stolen.
Connor looked right at home as he got back behind the wheel of a battery-operated police cruiser again Tuesday afternoon.
