COLUMBUS, Ind. — Chainsaws were among the dozens of pieces of stolen property recovered Tuesday in Columbus, Indiana.

Officers with the Columbus Police Department were called to a house in the 1200 block of Jonesville Road after receiving a complaint of stolen property at the house.

The officers secured a search warrant for the two-acre property, and they spent the next two days combing through hundreds of pieces of stolen property, including:

  • ATVs
  • Dirt bikes
  • Weed trimmers
  • Bicycles
  • Tractors
  • Guns
  • Dozens of chainsaws

During the investigation, the officers were able to track the stolen property back to thefts reported in Indiana and Kentucky. Police also found a meth lab on the property, according to a spokesperson with the Columbus Police Department.
