BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY — One person was thrown from a car and flown to an Indianapolis hospital after a crash Saturday morning in Bartholomew County.
Deputies were called around 8:25 a.m. to the 4500 block of East State Street, southeast of Columbus, after a driver was thrown from a car in a single-car rollover crash, according to the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Office.
A 37-year-old, of Columbus, complained of injuries and was taken to a hospital in Indianapolis by a Lifeline helicopter. Their exact condition is not clear at this time.
Personnel from Columbus Regional Health EMS, Columbus Township Fire Department, Indiana State Police, assisted Lifeline and deputies at the scene.
