BLOOMINGTON — A 23-year-old Bloomington woman died Friday night in what authorities believe was an accidental shooting.

Jordyn Graham died at IU Health Bloomington from a single gunshot wound after she was shot after 8 p.m. Friday at an apartment in the 3100 block of South Leonard Springs Road, Monroe County Coroner Joani Shields said in a news release.

Shields said an autopsy was performed Saturday morning in Terre Haute and findings are pending, but it is believed Graham, who was from Spencer and living in Bloomington, died from "an apparent unintentional discharge of a firearm."

The Monroe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident.
