BOONE COUNTY — An Indianapolis woman died in a two-car crash Thursday morning in Boone County.

Sherry Dennis, 54, died after the car she was riding in was struck at the intersection of County Road 100 South and County Road 400 East at 11:20 a.m., according to information from the Boone County Sheriff's Office.

Witnesses told police that Millie Cline, 52, of Indianapolis, was traveling northbound with Dennis and two other passengers on County Road 400 East in a gray 2005 Subaru Legacy when she did not stop at the intersection.

Patricia Greger, 78, of Zionsville, was driving eastbound on County Road 100 South in a gold 2000 Chrysler Town and Country. Greger, who did not have to stop, said Cline's vehicle pulled out in front of her. The sheriff's office said Greger struck Cline's Subaru on the rear driver's side of the car.

Teresa Treat, 53, of Indianapolis, was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital for chest pain, and a 3-year-old Indianapolis boy was examined at St. Vincent's. Both rode in the car driven by Cline. Greger suffered leg pain and was taken to St. Vincent's.

The Boone County FACT team was called to the scene to investigate and reconstruct the crash.
