BOONE COUNTY, Ind. -- Deputy Jacob Pickett was shot and killed while assisting with a pursuit in Lebanon on March 2.
Since his death, community members have been coming together with ways to support and honor the fallen deputy and his family.
Deputy Pickett leaves behind a wife and two young boys as well as his K-9 partner, Brik.

Here's how you can help:
A memorial fund has been set up for Deputy Jake Pickett by the Fifty Club of Boone County. Donations can be made at either the Boone County Sheriff's office or to any KeyBank (c/o Deputy Jake Pickett Memorial Fund).
If you can't make it to either of those locations you can also make a donation via PayPal to the Deputy Jake Pickett Memorial Fund.
Other groups are selling items for the family as well, but we will not post anything here unless it is approved by the Boone County Sheriff's Department.
