LEBANON, Ind. -- The parents of a 4-month-old Lebanon boy were arrested after the child was taken to the hospital and treated for multiple fractures throughout his body.
Mark Crudup, 23, and Rochelle Withers, 20, were both arrested last week.
Lebanon Police Department investigators were notified by the Indiana Department of Child Services on August 6 about an infant that had been taken to an area hospital with suspicious injuries.
Police say the 4-month-old was admitted to Riley Hospital for Children with multiple fractures throughout his body. Doctors determined that the fractures were in various stages of healing and some of them were up to two weeks old.
Crudup and Withers both face two charges of neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury and are being held on a $25,000 bond.
