BROAD RIPPLE — Broad Ripple went to the ducks Tuesday evening when rubber duckies raced along the canal.
Participants purchased ducks to take part in the race. The event also featured activities for neighbors and families.
One young resident said it's a great way to get the community together.
"I think it's incredible that we're able to be together, come together, using little rubber ducks as a kind of symbol of our entire community," 12-year-old Calvin Strauss said. "Getting together, enjoying the wonderful food, the trails, everyone just getting together enjoying the time. It's a beautiful day out!"
Money raised goes toward Broad Ripple Village Association programs and projects.
