HAMILTON COUNTY — Carmel and Fishers are planning to go virtual with their Memorial Day ceremonies this year, due to COVID-19 restrictions.
In Carmel, the event is on Friday, May 22 at 9.a.m. It can be viewed on the City of Carmel Facebook page.
Retired Colonel Mike Getchell is the guest speaker. He spent 30-years in the Army.
The City of Fishers will hold a day-long remembrance of fallen heroes on Monday, May 25.

At 4 p.m., a warbird flyover will take place.
And residents can join Fishers Parks in making a red poppy wreath to show your support for those who have sacrificed for our country. The wreath can then be displayed on front doors.
