FLORA, Ind. – The chief of the Flora Fire Department, Adam Randle, resigned Tuesday.

Sources told Call 6 Investigates Randle resigned just one week before the one-year mark of when four Flora sisters lost their lives in a deadly house fire on November 21, 2016.

The fire that killed Keyana, 11, Keyara, 8, Kerrielle, 7, and Kionne, 5 in their Columbia Street home, has been ruled intentional, but no suspects have been arrested in the case.

Adam Randle, who has served as the chief since 2014, is the son of former Indiana Department of Homeland Security Fire Investigator Dennis Randle, who resigned in June. Dennis Randle was in charge of the Flora investigation.

Over the weekend, Carroll County Prosecutor Robert Ives said he would step down at the end of the year. Meanwhile, two of the highest profile investigations - in Flora and Delphi - remain unsolved.

In both cities, local stores have began selling a cookbook titled "The Art of Cooking - Flora's Four Angels" that contains the girls' favorite recipes.Proceeds from the book will create a reward fund. If the money goes uncollected, it wil be given to the Flora Fire Department to fund prevention programs.

Indiana State Police said the resignations of the chief and the prosecutor will not have an impact on the Flora investigation.
