LAWRENCE — The cause of a fire Sunday afternoon at an apartment complex in Lawrence is under investigation.
Lawrence Fire Department fire fighters were called to the fire around 12:15 p.m. at the Maison Gardens apartments, near East 42nd Street and North Post Road.
LFD and Indianapolis Fire Department fire fighters were able to quickly get the fire under control, LFD Chief Dino Batalis said. Four apartments were damaged.
Apartment managers are working with the residents of those apartments impacted by the fire, Batalis said.
No injuries were reported.
On Oct. 16, three fire fighters were injured during a large fire at the same complex.
