INDIANAPOLIS — The Peace in Venezuela Coalition gathered Sunday afternoon at Monument Circle to protest in solidarity with the people in Venezuela.
The protest in Indianapolis came about two weeks after thousands gathered in cities across the nation for "Hands off Venezuela" marches.
"Protesters believe that Venezuelans alone must decide their own destiny, and that the US must stop all intervention, which includes the lifting of economic sanctions," the coalition said in a press release.
