Indiana man arrested in Colo. road rage incident

Road rage between the drivers of two vehicles on Interstate 25 in Colorado Springs ended in gunfire on Sunday.

CSP troopers responded to a report of shots fired, resulting from a road rage incident on northbound I-25 at Interquest Parkway, just after 1 p.m..

Troopers determined that a white Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and Silver GMC pickup truck were involved in a road rage incident when a passenger in the truck displayed a firearm and fired one shot. The bullet struck the driver side front tire of the Tahoe, troopers said.

The GMC truck exited the highway and the SUV pulled to the right shoulder of I-25. The occupants of the GMC truck were detained, and upon investigation the shooting suspect was taken into custody.

A firearm was located during the investigation.

Colorado State Troopers booked the suspect, Scott Postlethwait, 45, from Indiana., into the El Paso County Jail on charges of reckless endangerment and felony menacing.
