INDIANAPOLIS — Police officers will stand on Dunkin' Donuts rooftops Friday for a good cause.

Officers will be stationed on top of 16 Indiana Dunkin' Donuts locations as part of the annual "Cop on a Rooftop" event to collect money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run, which benefits Special Olympics Indiana. They're hoping to beat last year's total of $10,884.

Special Olympics athletes and their families, along with members of the Indianapolis Indians and the Indianapolis Colts cheerleaders, will also participate in the event which will take place from 5 a.m. to noon Friday.
