LAWRENCE — Three firefighters were injured during a large apartment fire in Lawrence.
Personnel from the Lawrence Fire Department were called around 8 p.m. to the Maison Gardens, an apartment complex near East 42nd Street and North Post Road, LFD Fire Chief Dino Batalis said. Several people called 911 and said they saw fire coming from the roof.
At least three firefighters, two from LFD and one from the Indianapolis Fire Department, were injured, Batalis said.
One woman, who is a resident of the apartment complex, was reported missing, Datalis said. She has since been safely located.

At least eight apartments were damaged during the fire, Batalis said.
Fire investigators are on-scene working to determine the cause of the fire.
