INDIANAPOLIS — Lawrence police are investigating after a person was shot late Friday morning on the northeast side.
Police responded to the 10300 block of Timber Leaf Court on a report of shots fired. There they located a person critically injured in a shooting incident.
According to Lawrence Police Chief Gary Woodruff, the shooting is believed to be an isolated incident stemming from some sort of transaction between two parties.
