INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says a 49-year-old man died after a shooting Tuesday night.
The victim, identified as Michael Wilson Sr., was found inside a residence in the 4200 block of North Edmondson Avenue, near 42nd and Shadeland on the city's east side.
Police say he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are canvassing the area for witnesses and interviews are underway as the investigation continues.
