INDIANAPOLIS — A person is in critical condition after being shot on the far east side of Indianapolis Saturday night.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 200 block of Legends Creek Place on reports of a person shot around 9:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male inside an apartment that was shot in the stomach. The victim was transported to be in critical condition.
Police said shell casings determined that shots were fired outside the apartment inside the apartment.
Police do not have any additional information regarding potential suspects.
IMPD asks that anyone with information contact the department.
