INDIANAPOLIS — One person has been injured in a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis on Thursday evening.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department East District officers responded to the 2600 block of E New York Street on reports of a person shot at around 5:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from a gunshot injury. He was transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
