1 person dead after stabbing on north side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — A person was stabbed to death Sunday afternoon on the north side of Indianapolis.

Officers were dispatched just after noon to 120 W. 38th Street, according to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. The business at the address is a Subway restaurant.

Police found the victim in the parking lot suffering from stab wounds. Medics pronounced the person dead at the scene.

Police have not released information about a possible suspect or what led to the stabbing. The victim's identity has not been released.
