INDIANAPOLIS — One person is in critical condition following a shooting on the south side of Indianapolis on Tuesday.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 7800 block of Forest Park Drive.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim with gunshot injuries. The victim is in critical condition, police said.
Investigators believe the incident occurred during a family disturbance. IMPD says a 28-year-old man was arrested for felony battery and felony criminal recklessness. WRTV will not report his identity until formal charges are filed. A final decision will be made by the Marion County Prosecutor's Office.
