INDIANAPOLIS — One man is dead after a shooting late Sunday on the west side of Indianapolis, police said.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the shooting just after 10 p.m. in the 5600 block of West 38th Street.
Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and medics pronounced him dead at the scene. The man was later identified as 52-year-old Eugenio Roman.
Investigators have not provided information about what might have led to the shooting.
