INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after being shot on the west side of Indianapolis Sunday morning.
According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, around 6 a.m., officers responded to the 2900 block of N. Warman Avenue on a report of a person down.
When officers arrived they located an adult male victim with gunshot injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased.
On Monday, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified the man shot as 20-year-old Zephiniah Bolden.
IMPD homicide detectives responded to the scene to begin the investigation.
